Symptoms
Patients with uncontrolled diabetes usually describe:
- Fasting or post-meal sugar repeatedly high despite regular medication
- HbA1c consistently above target
- Frequent thirst, urination and fatigue
- Tingling or burning in the feet
- Slow-healing wounds and repeated infections
- Steady weight gain or loss
If sugar stays above 300, you feel faint, or a foot wound is worsening — contact your doctor or a hospital immediately.
How treatment works at Arogyam
The first sitting reviews your medication, reports (HbA1c, fasting/PP), meal pattern, sleep and routine. The plan is built alongside your medicines, never by stopping them.
Diet therapy (DIP diet)
The day begins with fruit; raw vegetables and sprouts take a larger share of meals; processed food and added sugar are reduced step by step — a personalised plan backed by M.Sc (Food & Nutrition) training.
Circadian therapy
When you eat affects blood sugar as much as what you eat. First meal after sunrise, last around sunset, a fixed sleep schedule and morning sunlight — this sequence supports sugar control.
Yoga and pranayama
A regular asana sequence, pranayama and meditation — to reduce stress hormones and improve insulin sensitivity. Every patient gets a 15–20 minute home plan.
Review
Progress is reviewed with fresh reports every 4–6 weeks. Any decision to reduce medication belongs to your prescribing doctor, based on those reports.
