Low-level laser therapy (cold laser) applies very mild laser light to the painful area. There is no incision, no needle and no heat — the light accelerates the tissue’s natural repair process.
How treatment works
The laser device is held over the painful points for a few minutes at a time. A sitting usually takes 10–20 minutes and the patient feels only light contact. The method is also used on acupuncture points — especially useful for patients uneasy about needles.
